Toray Plastics appoints new Director of Sales, Lumirror Polyester Film Division


Toray Plastics (America), Inc., North America’s only manufacturer of precision-performance polyester, polypropylene, and bio-based films, announces the appointment of Chad Hedden to the position of Director of Sales for the Lumirror Polyester Film Division. Since 2009 Hedden has served the company as National Sales Manager for the Torayfan Polypropylene Division, a position that included the responsibility of developing PET sales in the packaging sector. Prior to that appointment Hedden was a manager in Toray’s Strategic Alliance Group. He joined Toray in 2006 as a Product Manager in the Torayfan Division after working at Tredegar Film Products.

Toray Plastics (America), Inc.’s Lumirror Division is responsible for the research, development, and manufacture of a wide range of value-added polyester films for packaging and industrial end users. Among the diverse advanced film technology applications  are stand-up pouches and lidding on the packaging side, and solar windows, graphics, electronics, durable-goods and in-mold labels, and wire and cable insulation, on the industrial side.
