Nilpeter opens new Technology Center in Bangkok in time with Labelexpo Southeast Asia

Nilpeter has opened its Technology Center in Bangkok and has re-located its office to a more strategically located region, King Kaew close to Suvarnabhumi airport. The new Technology Center is open for visits and our dedicated team is standing by for press demonstrations.

Alongside our Technology Centers in Europe and the USA, the new facility in Bangkok serves as the perfect showcase for ground-breaking ideas and innovations from Nilpeter and local technology partners such as Grafotronic and Trojanlabel. Nilpeter Asia Pacific was first established in Malaysia in 2000 but moved to Bangkok about two years later where it has been based ever since.

The Technology Center houses a new Nilpeter FA-Line press as well as its partner equipment from Trojan Label, Pamarco, Grafotronic, Alphasonics, BST eltromat, Biesse, Flexo Concepts, Vamatco, Enercon, Lundbergtech, Ultralight, Olinxo, Ad Doctor Blade and Trelleborg. ‘With its partners, Nilpeter can offer custom tailored advice to its customers,’ said Erik Blankenstein, sales director for Asia Pacific at Nilpeter.

‘In commercial strategy, the Technology Center will further boost Nilpeter’s presence in Asia Pacific region as it will not only be an ideal location for Australasian customers to visit but also will focus on providing a full package to customers. Bangkok has been home to Nilpeter since more than 16 years and has developed itself as a main point for business in Southeast Asia,’ added Blankenstein.

The company has a team of technical engineers, electricians and printers based in Thailand and locally in Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines, China and Australia for installation, training and after sales service of Nilpeter products as well as all strategic partner equipment and supplies.

“The Technology Center hosts a large space for operating presses, a well-equipped prepress area, customer lounge, as well as training and meeting rooms. We invite you to get hands-on experience and print demonstrations on standard jobs with the Panorama digital product line,” he added.

With an installed base of more than 200 presses in Asia Pacific, Nilpeter has a prominent presence in Thailand, Indonesia and Japan. ‘We are also growing in Australia, New Zealand and China. There is a plan of further expansion in 2018, possibly, with new strategic partnerships in Vietnam, Malaysia and South Korea as well,’ said Blankenstein.

The Panorama digital InkJet press, DP-3, is highly reliable, with a market leading uptime, fast and easy start-up, and high print engine stability. The smart workflow management system, Equios, ensures outstanding typeface optimisation, provides automated step and repeat functions, and matches a majority of Pantone colours. The ease of use enables you to respond to any customer requestsAn 8-colour FB-350. The new FB features pre-register, in-setting capabilities, and an Automated Plate Positioning System (APPS). We have also added dual web-path, and a rail system with turn bars and movable unwind/rewind towers for cold foil, hot foil, and lamination.
