New Delhi based Weldon Celloplast has been
appointed by EFI as sole agent for its Jetrion industrial inkjet systems
throughout India. It represents the significant rise in interest for next
generation technology in the label and converting sector.
EFI’s series of label production systems
includes the UV-curable Jetrion 4900 which combines printing and finishing in a
single digital platform, in return simplifying shirt and medium run lengths and
reducing waste.
Pawandeep Sahni, director, Weldon Celloplast,
says, “This technology will enable printers to
deliver to their
customers immediately with
digitally printed labels
on demand.”
Acknowledging the growth potential in this
market segment, Frank Janssen, sales development manager, EFI
Jetrion, says, “With Weldon
Celloplast we have found the
bridge towards the
Indian label industry,
and we’re looking
forward to delivering the best
partnerships to an industry which is expanding quickly.”
