Vetaphone appoints Weldon Celloplast as agent in India


A manufacturer of self-adhesive labelstocks, tamper evident security label products and specialty tapes - Weldon Celloplast that has also ventured into representing some of the leading and most trusted international names in consumables, materials and equipment for narrow web label printers, has been appointed by Vetaphone as its agent in India. The Danish manufacturer of corona treatment equipment reports increasing sales throughout Asia, and the partnership with New Delhi-based Weldon is part of its continued expansion in the region. 

Nicolai Bisgaard, Vetaphone’s area sales manager for Asia, said: ‘Our new partnership with Weldon Celloplast makes it possible for us to go into the Indian market as a serious business partner. We look forward to cooperation with Indian customers to help them with achieving their production goals.’

Vetaphone, founded by Danish engineer Verner Eisby, has supplied corona treaters around the world since 1951. The recent foundation of an Asian subsidiary in Singapore now provides local sales and service support to plastic and paper manufacturers in the region. Vetaphone was earlier represented by Royal Coat in India.
