IML Labels & Systems goes for a second BGM Elite High Speed Finishing System

IML has a long history in label manufacturing dating back to 1936, having established a forte for highly durable labels and tags IML became a leading supplier to the local steel giants of Sheffield.  The labelling of metals, particularly at high processing temperatures, remains a key influence for IML; innovation and expertise propels the company forward and fortifies its position as a global leader within this highly specialised field.

IML’s Managing Director: Shaun Higgins comments: Having established a speciality in high performance labels and tags the company has, over the years, diversified into other specialised markets where product identification and traceability are vital in very demanding, and sometimes hostile, applications. IML’s aim is to consult with each customer to guarantee the best possible labelling solution tailored to their individual requirements.

Shaun further comments: It is imperative that the die cutting & inspection slitter rewinding equipment we use in this demanding market enables maximum productivity. The BGM Elite Die cutting & Inspection slitter-rewinders have proven to be outstanding, especially in achieving very high speeds with very difficult substrates. From the very first installation to the most recent one, the reliability of the BGM machines has been outstanding. The quality achieved from BGM’s equipment is exceptional; production staff running the equipment find it to be very user friendly and easy to operate.  Being a specialist manufacturer it is essential that we meet our customers’ very high demands. Service, backup, and technical knowledge has also enabled BGM to shine through as a leading supplier to IML Labels.’

Daniel Carr, Sales Manager at Bar Graphic Machinery, added: ‘We are delighted with IML’s purchase of our latest Elite 410 SRi 16” 410mm wide High speed Inspection Slitter Rewinder system.  We are equally delighted that Shaun placed his order during an onsite to BGM following successful demonstrations using his difficult substrates. We look forward to further supporting IML and are proud, as a supplier, to be a part of their future expansion plans.
